Dr. Jagadeesha R Bhat

Asst. Professor- Indian Institute of Information Technology- Dharwad

Dr.Jagadeesha R Bhat received Ph.D. in Computer Science from National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), Taiwan. Currently, is an Asst. Prof at Indian Institute of Information Technology, Dharwad. Earlier he had held the position of external researcher at Zayed University, United Arab Emirates. He leads the 5G usecase lab at IIIT Dharwad. His research interests include wireless networks, 5G /6G.

Dr. Sameer G. Kulkarni

Asst. Professor, Dept. of CSE and EE, IIT – Gandhinagar

Dr. Sameer G. Kulkarni is a dynamic force in the field of computer science, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at IIT Gandhinagar. His academic path reflects a global and interdisciplinary perspective, beginning with a Bachelor’s in Engineering from NIE, Mysore, followed by a Master’s in Computer Engineering from the University of Southern California, and culminating in a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Göttingen, Germany.
His doctoral work earned him the prestigious IEEE TCSC Best PhD Dissertation Award in 2019, a testament to his innovative contributions. Dr. Kulkarni’s research spans a wide spectrum of cutting-edge technologies, including software-defined networking (SDN), network function virtualization (NFV), edge cloud platforms, distributed systems, and disaster management technologies. His work has been published in top-tier venues such as ACM SIGCOMM, CoNEXT, and IEEE Transactions on Networking, reflecting both depth and impact. Before entering academia, he gained valuable industry experience at Qualcomm in San Diego, where he worked on audio software stacks for Snapdragon processors, and at Tata Elxsi in Bangalore, contributing to embedded systems for mobile devices, set-top boxes, and HDTVs.
This blend of academic rigor and practical expertise enables him to approach problems with a unique, holistic perspective. At IIT Gandhinagar, Dr. Kulkarni leads pioneering projects in cybersecurity, cloud services, high-performance switching and routing, IP lookup optimization, and programmable networks. His work continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible in modern computing, making him a standout figure in both research and education.

Head of Technology, Niral Networks

A. Sivaramakrishnan (better known as Siva) is a seasoned technologist and strategy professional with a remarkable career spanning over 25 years. His expertise encompasses scaling established organizations and contributing to the foundational teams of startup ventures.

Sivaramakrishnan has played pivotal roles in technology implementation and deployment, notably in groundbreaking projects such as 4G WiMAX at Telsima and Cavium. Throughout his career, he has effectively leveraged IT to enhance operational efficiency and drive bottom-line growth, particularly evident in his tenure at POSMEDIA.

Sivaramakrishnan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a specialization in Computer Science from CIT, Coimbatore . Additionally, he pursued a PGXPM in General Management from the Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai, enriching his strategic acumen.
