Abhijit Chaudhary
Founder & CEO
Abhijit Chaudhary is the Chief Executive Officer and Board Member for Niral Networks. Abhijit has around 2 decades of experience working in Telecommunication and Data Networking industry. He has vast experience in Product Management, Strategy and Innovation. He had previously Co-founded Etrance Networks and was instrumental in architecting Networking Virtualization, Deep Packet Inspection, 4G Packet Core and Routing products for Mobile Operators and Enterprises. He was part of the initial engineering team of Apigee that got acquired by Google and had been instrumental in setting up the India Development Centre of Sandvine. He had previously worked with Cisco, Huawei and Motorola as an Architect and Senior Engineering roles.
Abhijit is active with Startup Ecosystem and is an invited speaker in events related to 5G, IOT and Open Source. He holds patent and contributes to magazines in Telecom and Computer Networks. He completed his Masters in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He is a Certified Product Manager from Association of International Product Marketing & Management.
Dr. Inder Gopal
Founder & Chairman
Dr. Inder Gopal is Chairman and Board Member for Niral Networks. He is currently a visiting Professor at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, working on behalf of the Government of India’s Smart City Mission to launch a nationwide Urban Data platform. He was previously Vice President of Software at Ericsson, where he was instrumental in launching their Edge computing efforts. Before that, he was Vice President of Networking at IBM, where he had responsibility for all of IBM’s hardware and software networking products. He has also worked in senior executive roles at AT&T and Prodigy. He has also founded, built-up, and successfully sold two venture-funded start-up companies, ReefEdge and Iptivia, both viewed as pioneering innovators in their space. He served as the Founding Chairman of a leading open source networking software group, OpenDaylight (ODL), recruiting dozens of top-tier companies to participate.
Dr. Gopal has also had a distinguished research career in the area of computer networks, with 20 patents and more than 70 technical publications to his credit. He worked at the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center, earning two IBM Outstanding Innovation Awards. He has served as editor of several technical journals and was elected Fellow of the IEEE. He has a PhD from Columbia University, New York and a BA from Oxford University, England.
Prasenjit Das
Vice President Engineering
Prasenjit Das is a seasoned software delivery professional with over 25 years of experience in the telecom software domain of core networks, automotive, multimedia, mobile handset, and IoT. With a strong background in software and system architecture, Prasenjit has led successful large projects across various telecom and connectivity domains.
Prasenjit’s achievements include leading the development and deployment of the NiralOS product suite and integrating the core network with different 5G radio. He was the system architect of various 3G and 4G network products like the GSM HLR, BICC for 3G core network, SS7 and delivered network solutions for telecom operators in Europe and APAC, including Huawei Softswitch for 3G network. Prasenjit has lead Huawei’s overseas device automation lab for handset delivery and incubated the India M2M/IoT R&D team.
Prasenjit’s leadership skills were also evident as he led the messaging R&D team in developing Huawei’s own messaging solution. He was also the project manager for Huawei’s first in-house wcdma mobile phone SW development. Prasenjit’s outstanding contributions have been recognized by HUAWEI for delivering key PTT solution.
Prasenjit holds a BE in Electronics and Communication Engineering from NIT Silchar, and his extensive experience and expertise in software delivery have made him a valuable asset to the industry.
Bhanu Pratap
Head of Sales
Bhanu Pratap has worked in ICT industry for going on 17 years. With years of experience in multi-functional roles, Sales, Pre Sales, Product Marketing, Strategy Planning, he has played important part in the enablement of various solutions & services to Telecom operators, Enterprises and others.
A ‘go-getter’ mind-set has helped him to be the practical executionist in enabling, setting up and stabilizing new initiatives across different organisations. He has extensive and progressive Sales & Presales experience with rich expertise in product marketing, strategy planning, research analysis.
In his past experience he has successfully set up new initiatives which in long turn has contributed in the success story of the organization. With deep relationships and years of multi domain experience, he has been instrumental in laying down strong foundations which has helped organizations in business expansions or new vertical creations, resulting into higher value returns.
He has done his Bachelors in Electronics form Shivaji University and Masters program in telecom management from Aegis School of Telecommunication, Indore.
Tanmay Batabyal

Tanmay is an accomplished marketing executive with more than 23 years of experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies. As the Head of Marketing, he has demonstrated his ability to drive business growth through integrated marketing campaigns, customer engagement, and brand building. Tanmay has a passion for creativity and innovation, which has enabled him to develop multi-channel campaigns that have driven customer acquisition and retention.
His expertise spans across several areas, including digital marketing, content marketing, social media, product marketing, branding, and analytics. He has held several senior leadership positions in marketing at various companies, ranging from small startups to large corporations, across a wide range of industries, including technology, consumer products, telecom, training and certification. Throughout his career, Tanmay has demonstrated an ability to create and execute marketing strategies that are aligned with business objectives, and that engage and delight customers.
Tanmay holds an executive MBA in Marketing & Strategy from MYRA School of Business, Mysore, and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. He is also active in the marketing community, participating in conferences and events and has been recognized for his contributions to the field. In his free time, Tanmay enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with his family.
Sivaramakrishnan Ananthakrishnan

His expertise encompasses scaling established organizations and contributing to the foundational teams of startup ventures. Sivaramakrishnan has played pivotal roles in technology implementation and deployment, notably in groundbreaking projects such as 4G WiMAX at Telsima and Cavium. Throughout his career, he has effectively leveraged IT to enhance operational efficiency and drive bottom-line growth, particularly evident in his tenure at POSMEDIA.
Sivaramakrishnan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a specialization in Computer Science from CIT, Coimbatore . Additionally, he pursued a PGXPM in General Management from the Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai, enriching his strategic acumen.
