We help customers reduce the risk of vendor lock-in
The Story Behind Niral
While working closely with Mobile Network Operators in previous projects, the Niral team understood the problem risk by Operators due to Vendor Lock-in, and challenges faced due to Proprietary, Closed, Rigid and Expensive Solutions. It is predicted that 5G Networks needs to be 10X denser than 4G Networks. Denser network would require devices from more vendors leading to further risk of vendor lock-in.
Mobile Network Operators understands the risk of vendor lock-in and are fast transforming from traditional and proprietary solutions to openness and disaggregation. Most operators have set up their own Research and Development arm to have better control over their Vendors, Products and Costs.
Niral Network’s co-founding team has a combined experience of more than 70 man years in the Networking Industry. They have rich product experience in Telecom, Data Center, and Enterprise verticals. The team has worked closely with customers in the US, India, Europe, Australia, Middle-East and South-East Asia. They have co-founded multiple startups in the US and India and co-authored numerous patents and technical publications in the area of computer networks.
After multiple deliberations with customer, the Niral team came up with the concept of Open Product Framework. Niral Open Product Framework enables Mobile Network Operators to transition from Vendor Controlled to Operator Deliberated approach that reduces the risk of vendor lock-in.
Reduce Mobile Network Operators risk of vendor lock-in by partnering in their network transformation journey from proprietary solutions to openness and disaggregation.
Niral Networks aims to democratize the networking components deployed in 5G Access and Edge using it’s Open Product Framework. It would enable Mobile Network Operators to transform from a Vendor Controlled to Operator Deliberated network by enabling effective management of Vendors, Products and Costs using Open and Disaggregated solution.
Niral Open Product Framework are Open software products built using open source code with interoperable APIs and curated to be robust, scalable and feature compliant. Any individual or community is open to contribute towards its software enrichment or support, it is integrable to any off-the-shelf Whitebox hardware to create a Disaggregated Networking Solution.
Niral Open Product Framework is built on 4 principles:
- Open Source Software Curation
- Telco Collaborated Customization
- Disaggregation as per Telco Choice of Whitebox hardware and software
- Flexible Support from Niral or any Third Party
